Proposed future business
At its next meeting on 17 May, it is expected that the Committee will take oral evidence from Rhona Brankin MSP, Deputy Minister for Environment and Rural Development, on the Water Environment and Water Services (Scotland) Act 2003 Annual Report and on the draft Private Water Supplies (Notices) (Scotland) Regulations 2006. The Committee will also consider two statutory instruments on private water supplies. Further statutory instruments, including the Croft House Grant (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (SSI 2006/214) will also be considered.

Proposed future business
At its next meeting on 30 May, it is expected that the Committee will take evidence from Dr Kevin Woods on its inquiry into the NHS Consultant Contract. The Committee also expects to take evidence from Philip Rycroft on its inquiry into the 2004/05 accounts of Inverness College at this meeting.
