Series A and beyond – insights for founders into the new BVCA Model Documents

Shepherd and Wedderburn, 9 Haymarket Square

Wednesday 14 June 2023 | 4:15pm - 5:30pm

The British Venture Capital Association (BVCA) published its new model form documents for early-stage investments earlier this year. These make a variety of changes to the previous (2017) model forms to reflect changes in UK market practice and to align the model forms somewhat more closely with the expectations of US-based VCs.

Join us for an in-person late-afternoon session reviewing both the key changes and takeaways that founders should be aware of and also the main discussion points that are likely to arise in deals papered with the new model forms. This interactive session will be led by one of our corporate partners, Stephen Trombala, who has over 25 years' experience in venture capital and private equity transactions advising both founders and funds on investments and exits.

This presentation will take place in Shepherd and Wedderburn’s 9 Haymarket Square, Edinburgh headquarters over refreshments.
