Diversification of land and estates to generate new income streams has become increasingly common in the rural sector. But what if the land is subject to restrictive title conditions that affect what the owner can do with their land? Often these conditions will have been imposed many years ago, and changed circumstances may mean that it is no longer relevant for the land to be burdened in this way. How can these burdens be dealt with?
This webinar will consider the mechanisms available for dealing with conditions that may sterilise future development of land or otherwise affect diversification plans. We will also touch on the circumstances in which neighbouring landowners may have the right to enforce compliance with these restrictions.
