Join us for our new webinar series, where we will discuss three areas of critical importance in the construction industry: contracting for certainty, enforcing rights and limiting liability.

Our first webinar, Contracting for certainty, takes place on 25 September and will consider the advantages of taking time to get a construction contract right and signed at the outset. We will discuss the recent Court of Appeal case of North Midland Building Ltd v Cyden Homes Ltd, in which the court held that an express contractual term took priority over a common law principle known as the prevention principle. We will also look at the recent Supreme Court case of Rock Advertising Limited v MWB Business Exchange Centres Limited, which concerned the status of contractual "no oral variation clauses".
