We currently have a vacancy for a Temporary Billing Assistant (1 year contract) within our Finance team as we migrate from one system to another.

The Billing Assistant will be part of a team of 5 responsible for generating client invoices accurately and in a timely manner.  You will be numerically minded and have excellent attention to detail.  Legal billing experiences is preferred but other billing experiences will be considered.  Our Finance operating system is Aderant, therefore experience of Aderant will be advantageous. Experience of transitioning from one billing system to another will also be a huge advantage.  

Main duties will include preparation and finalising all client invoices and credit notes, providing support to the fee earning teams with all aspects of Billing including processing time transfers, splits, write off requests (obtaining write off approvals), liaising with fee earners and secretaries to solve account queries.  You will need good VAT billing knowledge (standard & Out of Scope rules) and will be required to work as part of team but take responsibility for your own tasks too.

This is temporary, full-time post within our Edinburgh or Glasgow office. We are looking for a candidate to support in this role for approximately 12 months. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
