Scott has extensive experience advising on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters, including consenting, planning appeals (including inquiries), planning agreements, environmental impact assessment, judicial review, pollution incidents and enforcement. He is qualified in both Scottish and English jurisdictions and has advised on some of the UK’s largest energy, transport, waste, leisure, commercial and mining projects.
Scott has recently advised on a number of major renewable energy schemes including Round 3 offshore wind projects, onshore wind projects and energy from waste projects. He also advises on traditional energy development, including coal and gas fired power stations and new nuclear.
