Nigel is a Partner in the Infrastructure team. He is qualified in Scotland and in England & Wales and has extensive experience advising on PPP, PFI and NPD projects, with particular expertise in the health and education sectors. Nigel has taken an interest in the service and payment mechanism-related aspects of these projects and has substantial experience in providing advice to projects in the operational phase.
Nigel recently advised the funders of the New Centre for the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, Phase 1 of the redevelopment of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and the prospective funders of the Balfour Hospital Orkney NPD Project. As well as advising on significant variations to health and education projects, Nigel is currently advising on projects procured under Scotland’s HUB initiative.
