Matt is a Partner with our commercial disputes team, based in Edinburgh. He advises clients on a wide range of commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Matt has a particular interest in contractual disputes and brand protection, and regularly helps clients protect and enforce their intellectual property rights. This includes assisting them from the outset of a dispute by advising on pre-action communication and litigation strategy. He also regularly provides advice at an early stage to help ensure contracts are fit for purpose and consider practical ways to manage risk.
Matt deals with disputes in both Scotland and in England & Wales relating to commercial contracts, infringement of intellectual property, brand protection, and professional negligence.
