Liz is a Consultant in the energy and natural resources practice, and a recognised specialist advising on large regulatory or commercial projects in the energy and water sectors. She has advised on every major electricity market restructuring in the UK since 1989 and advises water industry clients such as Wessex Water, Water Plus and South West Water and the Water Industry Commission for Scotland on retail market reform. Liz is a key member of the firm’s renewables team, advising clients such as Dong Energy, Moray Offshore Renewables, AES and Banks Renewables on projects from inception to commissioning across wind, wave, tidal, biomass and many other technologies.

Liz is a regular speaker on issues such as transmission access and aviation mitigation. She also advises clients operating in the defence, logistics, waste and food and drink sectors on all types of major commercial agreements, including long-term and IT outsourcings, logistics, purchasing, sales and business process. Liz focuses on the deals that keep a business going and that are essential to ensuring that its products and services reach customers on the right terms. She has advised clients across the UK on large commercial transactions, including Chivas Brothers and BAE Systems.
