Gillian specialises in residential and commercial development, strategic land and site assembly, as well as telecommunications property law, which often links into the development work.
Gillian has a great deal of experience in acting for a number of national housebuilders over the years on development site acquisitions, complex overage arrangements and collaboration agreements, strategic options, affordable housing disposals and site set up including utilities documentation and bespoke Deeds of Conditions. She has considerable experience in acting for housing associations, including acquiring affordable housing sites at golden brick stage and turnkey, and putting in place mid-market rent leasing structures. Gillian acts for a number of development site vendors and recent experience has included acting for property investors/developers on the strategic acquisition of numerous areas of land via options and suspensive contracts to allow an onwards sale to a housebuilder for circa 400 units and for a golf club in a complex overage agreement exit and bespoke contract for disposal of land holdings to a national housebuilder.
