Enforcing IP rights in the EU post Brexit

Paul Carlyle, a leading IP specialist, and Head of Media and Technology at law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn will join industry leaders at the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition conference in Arizona this week.

The focus of the three-day event is on IP enforcement trends and solutions.

Together with speakers from Stobbs IP, and Baker McKenzie, Paul will address an audience of IP owners and brand protection professionals on the likely challenges of enforcing IP rights following the UK’s exit from the EU.

Paul advises clients across all sectors on IP, media matters, commercialisation of and governance in sport.  He is particularly well known for his work with major sports organisations and is heavily involved in the firm’s Brexit  Advisers Group, regularly contributing white papers on the subject of Brexit. These have included: Sport post Brexit; and Brexit and IP.
